The first one is APC. I'm not sure if the black one I like is from the same season but that's the satin one from a few (I think?) back. The photo makes it look a lot more muted than it was, in person I thought it was kind of bright.

How could anyone possibly think any pair of vans is better than any pair of converse? If I lived somewhere where it's economically feasible to buy those (i.e. not $140 for a pair of cons) I would already own a million pairs.

Somebody is obviously jaded by cons. It might be a west coast thing because I saw more chucks on the east coast, but vans are much preferred out here. I don't have a preference, but Id take a pair of vans any day over chucks given the collabs and available models.

In shooes' case the Cons look nicer but I prefer the range Vans offers. The only interesting shoes that Converse really has are the Jack Purcells.
