lad musician button up $90? been wanting a dark button up for a while--does anyone have any comments on the quality/cut of these things? i've never owned any lad before. also the sizing seems weird--46 is a M and measures 20" p2p. seems more like a 48..?

i wear a 46 lad shirt, it's true to size ( i wear a xs in apc shirts). t-shirt and pants sometimes run big. quality wise is good and i love the slim cut of the shirt.

thanks for this--i'm generally a slim 48/bigger 46 and a s in apc shirts so im guessing this will be a little too small. the pit to pit measurement (i'm still confused by this--20" seems like a definite 48 to me for slim fit) and size (japanese sizing i'm guessing) seemed like it would fit me but i guess not!

I would personally go with the diors provided they are mij, the cut works much better for me than the 1001s... denim and construction on the 1001s blows the diors out of the water though. tried on both last time I was in ny and decided on a pair of skulls as the middle ground.

really all depends on if you want a modern fashionable cut or a work wear cut.

It takes some getting used to ( your first tapered pair) as I was the same way when I bought my first tapered pair of pants. But its not a severely skinny pair all the way down

The thighs look somewhat relaxed, and the herringbone looks great ( mind you I have a penchant for herringbone) I say cop

I tried these on the other day and they fit quite loose. I'm normally a 30/31 in Rag and Bone, Acne etc and the medium was falling off of me. The outer material is really thick and the lining is also very thick so these should be really really warm.

yeah, not feelin' the cow-print vibe on those APCs.

Boots. Alden 405's:

or Red Wing Beckman moc toes:

I like the Aldens a bit better, but I will actually be trudging through snow in these in a few months, so the more rugged sole and lower price of the Red Wings are appealing.

aldens!! these have the commando sole, yea? good to go.

Aldens with a commando sole are actually hard to find (the only place I know of that has them is Leather Soul Hawaii) and they cost a fair bit more.

But even with the regular sole, I think Alden is probably the better choice.

is this the same boot? 405 = indy boot? maybe call them if they can custom make the boot in that color , or in color#8 :)
