ATTN: xcoldricex and montreal (and other canadian) SUFUers

I currently live near the US-Canada border, an hour away from montreal.

This is my first time living in a place with lots of snow.

So, I'm gonna need some snow boots this winter.

Any recommendations?

I know they'll be beat fairly quickly so I won't invest in an expensive pair of boots.

about 2 bills. 189.99 was the price last time I checked. the soles can be replaced and they oil the boots for you at the store.

a really nice paig and a classic design. 875 all the way. btw size half size down, for me this got me the best fit.

how much are red wings?

how far up your ankle are you looking to have the boot go?

If you're going to be walking in over half a foot of snow with any kind of regularity, I would recommend something like the Sorels (pictured above). There are other brands providing similar protection that look a ton better than Sorels in my opinion, but a lot of them are a bit pricier.

I have a pair of older scarpas that lace up real tightly around the ankles, although they only come half as high as Sorels. They serve me fine with a pant leg over them unless I'm going to be spending some serious time out in deep snow.

PM me if you have any specific questions...I spend way too much time playing in the snow...

I personally fucking LOVE Canada Goose. Got the Chilliwack last winter, going to get the Expedition Parka this coming winter just simply because I love them. The Chilliwack still looks and feels brand new too. The aviator hat is nice too. Real quality from Canada Goose.
