Have you tried the Marc store? I was there the other day and they

still have a lot of the vans in stock...maybe they will ship...

BOth Marc Jacobs and American Rag have stores in SF for all you Norcal folks. If you are in the SF area you should check out stores around Union Square and then walk straight down Sutter st and check out Huf. I just bought some Marc J vans there a few hours ago. If you keep walking down Sutter you can check out American Rag on Van Ness which also stocks Marc J slip on vans.

Late post I know, but you can just call the store in NY, buy the shoes with plastic and have FedEx/UPS/etc collect them and ship them over to you. Maybe kinda extreme, but I've done it a couple of times and the folks at MJ were very helpful.

thanks for the input. i found some in a german store that will send them. now i'm unsure about the size. UK8 should be a european 42, right? are vans sized normally, i usually have a UK 8/US 8,5 in Adidas

tazmaniac, i don't think they made a 8.5! i called one of the marc stores looking for that same size and she said they didn't come in half sizes. if they did, i'm looking for a pair also

you're probably right about the size, so I would need an 8, as a 9 is probably too big. I'll keep looking, but they really seem to have sold out almost everywhere

I have the test patterns and they were $100. They really make your feet stink because they didn't put a anti stink insole on these. Any idea how to keep them from stinking?

serge, are the sockliners removable? if yes, you can always take them out and replace them with some sockliner that comes with odor-repellant or some sort

The new Marc J Vans are pretty ill. They'll look good hella broke in. I think patent leather is wack unless you just break the hell out of it.
