Superdenim! Supermembers!

My Name is Greg (real name), I have been enjoying the site with not much to say. :(

But I have been searching for a few things, and have not been able to find them.I guess I'll list them in categories...any advice would help. I noticed some members had these at one point. Not sure if the members are still active here, because i have not read every post in the encyclopedia that is superdenim.

Well here is the list of things i am looking for...my wants...

JACKETS/COATS

-1905 SUNSET COAT------It's twill and distressed. Used in a Medium size is ideal. Have not been able to locate one so far. I guess new is ok too. Large would be ok maybe, but medium would be best to find.

SHIRTS

-1920s CHAMBRAY -----It's blue and Chambray, 1920s model. Medium or small size preffered, but large or extra large would be nice. it buttons from the top to bottom or bottom to top.

-1900s BUNKHOUSE SHIRT-----I think this one is chambray too...but it is a pullover shirt and not a full button down shirt. Small, medium or large. New or used.

DENIM

1920s pullovers/coveralls ---these look like a body suit of denim...

..........Well that is it, and I know it's asking a lot! I don't expect to find all of them right away. But thought if any sufu members had these to sell it might be worth a try asking.

Thanks much guys,

Greg

Thank you for the help in moving this post.:)

I have read on sufu that the quality is not like the originals? I had always thought it was made exactly the same and even on the same machinery?

I think the vintage style is good in the LVC pictures here, and online i have seen.

But not sure if that is really the reality of LVC. On the levi site $501 for jeans is pretty high up there, if the quality is not great. I am no expert and do not even own a great pair of jeans yet. But some of the other brands, like samurai, evisu and some others, seem to be more durable, if that makes sense? Maybe they are just heavier?

It seems like the Levi's are more for the vintage design, and the distressing they do by hand. Which is very interesting since they appear to be very detailed. I know I will never be able to afford a real coat from 1905. So a replica is the closest I'll get. And if the replica isn't made as well as the original, then that is ok with me. I think that the style/look of them is really great. I like the historiacl aspect of it.

I know collecting things, like comics if i was able to find a 12th printing of a issue for $5, of an origianl that is worth $1000 I am happy just to have read it. So I think of the LVC as something like that I guess. Close to the original but not quite.

The quality might not be equal to what i could buy for the same price in another line, but to me the historical style is what the top price is for. I am sure the name too.

Those are just some thoughts on it.

Thank you for your help again T in moving the post. I could not figure that out at all.

Also quality isn;t that bad on what i saw in person. same as all other levi's quality it seems, mostly paying for the design I guess. Saw the menlos jacket in person and it was great looking but looks foolish on me. also the 1937 jeans are a bit too much. Especially the raw denim. just doesn't look good on me. Which is suprising since those are designer clothes. ok won;t bore you guys too much.
