Alternatives to Marc Jacobs boots?

Hello.

So Ive seen these Marc boots and I want them. But according to luisaviaroma.com they are 425 Euros, which is rather spendy. Anyone know of any alternatives in a similar style? I really am not into Doc Martens or surplus army boots because I think the toe box and sole profiles look too chunky. Ive searched and found nothing that answers my question.

They actually look like some of the polo riding boots that I have seen, I don't know any brands though.

Hare makes something very similar for dirt cheap. Though they are discontinued, so you will need to browse through yahoo to find a pair. The downside is they are made of synthetic leather. If you are looking for a pair with real leather good luck finding a pair for under 300. I've been searching for about half a yr now and have not come across a pair that i like for cheap. The ones i like were always in the 400-700 range.

out of interest, do you guys wear them with your trousers 'tucked in' or kinda caught at the top - i like that look.

i've got a pair of dkny 'vance' boots in leather, with a rubber toe cover, they're too military for what your looking for, but a similar style, but i'm barely wearing them as the heel is just a little too steep. cost me £300 as well, i blame the bbc for saying a cold weather front was going to hit england and be arctic conditions!

Well, 375 USD is still kinda close to 425 Euro, but it's a start right? And the upside of these are they'll last you a good while too.
