lee 101b "hair on hide"

Can anyone compair the fit of the 101B replika to the fit of LVC's (201, 501). What's about the quality?

If you speak of the real Edwin made 1937 101 Replika I can say there is no different in quality, but the denim is less heavy than of the 1937 501XX, Lee used 11oz Denim which isn´t really heavy, but soft. The fit is quite the same, loose fitting as the most 1930s jeans around.

lilldavid here on this forum owns the hair on hide and some early LVC's... Check his history, I remember that he posted a lot of fit pics of these models.

The weight of the thirties jeans is about the same and the fit is almost the same. The 1936 Lee's just feel a bit more fitted than the 1933 LVC's. As I remember it the Lee's were a bit better in terms of color than the LVC's when new.

here in sweden theyr'e really pricey, Retail at 2300 SEK = 245 Euro. If you buy them of some japanese site they will be 18900 Yen = 115 Euro. Plus shipping that would make something like 160 Euro.
