i can take some... the thrift store by me got a ton of deadstock old denim... not much that is wearable by modern standards tho... lots of really dated pieces. also picked up the duckhead work jeans im wearing in my WAYWT pic... all denim was 3.95$

and yes, im on the east coast... jacksonville florida.

A collector friend of mine told it's a Chimayo jacket from New Mexico and yes it dates from the '30's (they were made from the 30's through the 50's). There were two major makers: Ganscraft and Ortega's. He also said the Japanese collectors are crazy for em. Grant

so my gf and i went back this morning.

and it was still closed.

i called the store number too, but i just got an answering machine. so we ate our brunch, gave up and started heading toward the airport since we were trying to catch a flight.but about 5 minutes into the drive, my phone rang and it was madeline. she asked me if i called her. she said she was just opening the store. we headed right back again.
