Since there seems to be some interest in Evisu again, a friend of mine found this old catalogue lying around. Here are some pics from it. It's funny how they completely ignore their original philosophy these days.

I was interested in those 1870 style evisu jeans. As you can tell, they're based on the one's that were found in Nevada.

Think those have been discussed around here before, back when they were showing up on ebay. I saw them in person, or something similar, and wasn't that impressed.

so let me get this straight, these evisu are made so that the logo gets worn in to the back pocket. so this is like the brass knuckle thing but cooler if in not mistaken. seem pretty bad ass.

i have a pair of evisu's with brass 'stud' guls inside both back pockets to give a similar effect.

well a lot fabric can be raw, regardless of the color of the fabric. raw just means that it hasn't been washed. it could be dyed pink and still be raw.

I'd be interested to see how they would fade, or simply get worn in.

additives to the dyestuff will give you a different coloured jean. sulphur is one chemical that has been used as a lightening agent for natural indigo. with pure indigo it seems to react differently though...

people with a greater amount of knowledge about dyeing can provide more details about other lightening agents, i'm not the expert here by far.
