clear wayfarers/glasses?

i've been trying to track down a pair of clear frames for eyeglasses lately and was wondering if rayban ever made clear wayfarers.

also, recommend some other frames if you know of any.

There you go, you should be able to find it on Yahoo Japan and buy it through proxy service. One of my favorite glasses. I wear it more than my Dior black tie 15. Comfortable, stylish and not to formal and plus the price is good.

You might know them from their ads, or from searching for glasses on superfuture, or their threads. At any rate, they've been talking about "bespoke" glasses in various frames for at or around $500-600.

I'm not sure if they do this for many frames besides OGs; I don't need glasses to see so I didn't read it in depth. Further proof that having functional eyes doesn't make one see more.

i love how almost everyone that responded to this thread recommended black frames. can you not read?

on that note, i'm still trying to track down CLEAR wayfarers if they were ever made. clear is referring to the frames and temples, not just the lenses. kthx.

There are plenty of clear acetate frames out there. Don't look online, go to you local OPTICIAN.

i think if you still want them you should get them off ebay or local vintage store...

they might cost like 40 - 60...i guess....

most of the stuff i've been seeing at frame shops haven't been the style i'm looking for. i know there are tons of clear frames out there.

"Super" is made by Zeiss. I don't think they're associated with Super Super, but they advertise in i-D. i think they're targeting the "electro" crowd.

The lenses are made by the german optics specialist Zeiss - the frames aren't. As far as I know, the company is totally independent.
