Just thought I'd let you guys know.

BUT HE WEARS MASTER MIND JAPAN:eek::eek::eek:

i know he's considered a prominent dj, but i really cannot fathom as to how he would be an instumental advertising tool for them. i was actually surprised that he could fit their shit...

is he hurting mastermind, or are they hurting him?

They really can't abondon this for too long - at least the brand directors and such. It is a circle jerk pr machine disguised as blogs. They have shilled so many products using this portal over the past year or so - HF and them have been doing this circle jerk thing for quite sometime and this is the mechanism that supports the industry. They used to do it alot in monthly magazines but in this day and age, blog style internet posting just has too much advantage over that mode. It's not just Hypebeast that jacks pics/info from these guys, lots of Japanese blogs and sites jump on new product posts by these guys.

I just wish if one of them came out clean and acknowledged this in a "mwahhhaha, that's right, line the fuck up for my new striped T-shirt that's gonna cost you 20,000 yen motherfuckers!' style rant instead of 'oh, by the way, I made this shirt with my buddy, i think i am gonna stock it around fall' steeze

I'd just like to clear some air about HB, yes hypebeast "jacks" stuff, but so do about 90% percent of all blogs, I mean thats one of the whole purposes of blogs, to talk about stuff, and shit has got to come from somewhere. Can we stop all the fucking hate over hypebeast? ok we get it. BTW, Hypebeast has been around for a while, even before shit started blowing up, and it is very likely they have been reporting on brands longer than many people even here on sufu even found out who HF was let alone many jap brands. Stop getting all butt hurt because hb helped pave the way for ordinary people to find out about something other than abercrombie n fitch, Shit more money for the labels, you don't hear them complaining. You just got to find another way to be exclusive, unless you are a true fan and aren't marred by other people wearing what you got cause you might actually have steez of your own.

I don't hate HB, I merely used it as an example to point out the mechanism of the niche industry that is streetwear (or whatever others may call it) and how honeyee blogs play a considerable amount of role as a means of marketing, not just famous people keeping diaries. 'Jacking' was not the right word, and ofcourse none of them would complain about people obtaining information from Honeyee like you said, why would they?

But like I posted above, I just want some of them HF, Tet whoever...to come out and make ignorant salesman pitches...just for kicks. instead of their usual nice guy routine, just for kicks.

the honeyee staff made fun of hypebeast a few days ago.

they announced the release of honeyee.com box logo (ala supreme) tee.

the caption for the image was "We bet hypebeast.com will repost this on their site (LOL)."
