I'm def not as cool as jimmy, no doubts there...as for when I can go, I think it'd be cool if bacon did his Tokyo pilgrimage even if it is all picture dumped at the end but on the other hand, I'll be heading up north in two weeks (still Jimmy's turn tho right?) and could provide endless amounts of touristy pics but I don't want to step on Jimmy's run. So IMO I say let bacon go before me! Don't worry, I'll find stuff to take pics of on the daily regardless of when I go...

Can i wear them to the Inazuma festival?

The only issue is that it's in 3 weeks..

Flat Head would get a kick out of this entire thing... maybe i can do a 3 day guest spot?

That would be cool...and while you're wearing them - get the weak spots fixed by the Flathead crew - this way they could live another year...

if he takes them to inazuma and gets them overhauled by the FH crew, that would make them last stronger,longer. plus inazuma pub would be the shit. i'm just a taggalong, so i don't give a shit in what order i'm on the list, as long as i'm on the list. salaami is fucking stoked! do ya'll still use that word out in cali kiya? if these jawns get the proper repairs periodically they could go on for years and years...this jean IS superfuture!

The possibility of FH doing repairs to the jeans during the Inazuma week isn't there. For one thing they're running around like mad the week before and after Inazuma to prepare for the festival and not to mention that they're from Nagano, not Tokyo, so they have to travel hours just to get there, they have no machinery they bring with them.

Hey Dude, if it is your turn then it is your turn. I am just wondering which tactics will be used to do you out of it this time. The policemans wife went right to the front of the line in the post office the other day because she was "in a terrible hurry". And everyone else in the line wasn't. I don't know it really got me thinking. Sorry about the unconnected ramble.

The jeans look superb though. I would love to get them on a construction site for a month but my fat ass wouldn't fit them.

Hey dude take your turn. Kiya has a whole bunch of jeans to mess around with, I'm sure. As soon as they go back to Flathead's then they are finished IMHO. There is a certain purity and art in this experiment, let the jeans die a dignified death when it is their time to go. and if you are lucky enough to have a spot on the tour then keep it and don't let anyone take away your chance contributing to this pure piece of art.

I am buying a pair of these jeans on the strength of this thread. I should have them in a couple of weeks when my buddy gets back from Japan.

lol no worries man its all a good time anyways...no conspiracy in keeping me out or anything, I'm sure nobody would complain if it went either way (me or jimmy) but I'm not thinking too hard over it all...:cool:

Maybe there was a bit of misunderstanding here, i never intended to KEEP them, i was just going to wear them for a few days at the festival to show Flat Head and get some shots of them being worn at the festival.
