Day 4

Woke up to a strange rattle sound at the window...surprise! Window cleaning time...only supported by thin wire and a suction cup...wheres the scaffolding?

What it looks like from the window washers view...39 floors up...you can see the baseball stadium (cubs) in the distance

Theres also a lakeside view...the sunset/rise is spectacular when you see it...the sun glimmering in the waves...wow...this is just a regular daytime picture though

The whole water tower area is pretty nice at night IMO despite the touristyness

Ave but nothing that special...the womens stuff I don't mind too much but the mens...errr...still, a step up for the city of Chicago! btw I don't proclaim to dress well...lol most of the time I just throw on whatever's laying around (as evidenced by whats above) so I guess I shouldn't be so bitchy...

My girlfriend lives on Aldine between Broadway and Halsted. We go to the Whole Foods across the street from there all the time.

Day 5

Woke up again to a beautiful view and prepped myself to get some Hot Doug's (as seen on Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Hot Dog Paradise, etc)...

Using the GPS even though we're only a few miles away...

Hot Doug's...a usual highlight of every Chicago visit of mine...

Now, when people go to Hot Doug's they usually try the Foie Gras (supposedly Bourdain's favorite hot dog ever) but I prefer just the plain old regular "dog"...just remember, cash only! Also, if you're there on the right day, get the Duck Fat Fries...

After eating we decided to hit up the Marc Jacobs store in Bucktown/Wicker Park and walk around the area (is Hejfina still open? didn't get a chance to check it out but I remember a going out of business sale a while back...)

This whole foods is brand new and is a pretty happening place with a fully functioning bar, "stage" etc....We just bought gelato...Cranberry Gingersnap and Chocolate something or other...
