if you have not washed nething yet try using herbal escences oily hair shampoo. it works pretty well

The opposite solution... Cover the rest of the jeans and shoes with black paint, and break them in that way.

wash them and then overdye black. Doubt you will match the darkness of the paint though.

You couldnt use the paint remover that you used on the dog on your jeans too? although i imagine it wouldnt be good for them but what do you have to lose?
