i have a friend who makes custom wallets. if there is enough interest, maybe we could put in an order of custom sufu wallets?

so, any ideas? shapes, sizes, braids, engravings, features, etc....?

or, if everyone has different tastes, we can scrap the sufu wallet idea and just put in individual orders.

I'd love something Red Moon-ish but a little on the thinner side. I love the rugged aesthetic of Red Moon and the slim profile of Wild Swans.

my friend, kamida-san, made a smaller wallet for coleslaw. it's the same shape as the hr-01 but smaller.

i like the redmoon style with little thinner, a long wallet version. snap button with 4-5 card slots. pocket for coins. a rope tassel - but not braided like red moon.more like the skull denim version clean and straight.

Looks pretty good, although I would prefer a thinner leather - 3-4 oz - and a thinner braided rope. Would it have "superfuture" stamped along the bottom?

no, i called horween and they have a 9 month waiting list for shell cordovan. so, no horsey-leather wallets for us.

can we agree, no snap button on the inside? i don't like how it digs into the card slot on the other side. so this means no real change pocket, just two slots.

That's ok with me. Putting change in my wallet ususally makes it too uncomfortable to sit on for me anyways.

i'd like a slimmer wallet that is longer than most wallets and hangs out of the pocket slightly. i don't think a red moon style wallet would be good for this project, because if people really wanted one they could buy an actual red moon wallet or go to leather goods connection and get one similar to it. this should be a wallet that is different enough from other brands that will make it unique.

i personally do not like the big buttons on the outside of wallets like red moon, so i would be in favor of not having any buttons.

a couple suggestions: "superfuture" and "sufu". also, he can put screen names on there too.

but I really dig the leather strap which Still linked too.. what do people think of this ?

and would really be in for some amazingly soft leather so you could almost roll it together.. dunno if this could be done...
