hotel partying

anybody have any experiences with throwing a hotel party? i got a 720 sq. ft. suite at a relatively new hotel in dc, and i'm expecting about 18-22 people in the suite. i'm hoping that the whole experience is more of a chill session than a house party, but i'm a little worried it could get slightly out of hand (i.e. too loud). is this too many people for this much space? what are the odds of hotel management knocking at our door?

just dont let anyone from your party break open or use a fire extinguisher if you live in cali. it is considered a felony and if your party causes a rukus and they find out someone used the fire extinguisher you get a fat fine and jail time.

Two things to expect at hotel parties:

1. Plan on getting two or three visits minimum from the hotel security

2. Throw the TV out the window

Without those two things, it's not a hotel party.

hotel parties are fun as hell. Most places will give you like 3-4 visits before they call cops, and they'll definitely tell you before they do. 22 people isn't a huge number, you should be fine unless you have asshole neighbors.
