legit check on levis capital E jeans

i bought a pair of levis capital e jeans off ebay for 40 dollars shipped. Im skeptic now whether they are real or not. Any help?

Seems like a pretty standard price for the Capital E line. I don't see why anybody would bother faking them, either.

how come there isnt an E on the red tab?

They're Skinners. I've seen those on crazy sale all over the place. Hell, my roommate picked up a pair from Urban Outfitters for like $40. I think the bootcut, skinny thigh look is on the way out, so they don't exactly fetch their "suggested retail." I do like the honeycomb distressing and slight greenish tint on his pair, however.

edit: His pair did have a capital E and had significantly more "hiddern rivet" disressing, though.

Levi produces a certain number of garments with just a red tab in order to hold on to the copyright of a red tab as well as a red tab with 'Levi' written on it. That's why you have a red tab with no 'Levi' on it.

Um... Wash them a lot so that the entire pair get more uniformly faded (talking months here) and maybe iron them? Why do you want to decrease the whiskering? If you're talking about future whiskering, that will not be a problem.

Just take a jiffy marker in the same shade and colour them in. Easy.

Why did you buy distressed jeans if you don't like the distressing?

PS - I have a pair in the Capital E line and the red tab has an "E" as well as the registered trademark "r". Everything eles on yours look pretty genuine...so its probably just something they did on that model to make it unique. Good buy though!
