I picked these up at the thrift store today - they have a great fade, and the denim feels really nice, but the details are odd. Are these just oldschool 505s? They appear to be missing the leather patch and coin pocket (or did they ever have them?) and the only tags/markings inside are care instructions on the right pockets. Non-selvage, Talon 42 zipper, little "e." Unfortunately, they're a bit too small for me.

They look to me as levis from the late 70's or early 80's but can't be totally certain. It looks very similar to the LVC 646 1971 fred or the lvc 606 -- the only difference is that the lvc's have a big E -- Perharps other folks like airfrogusmc knows alot more about levis would be able to conclusively ID them for you.
