making onis skinny

i am lusting for slubby oni denim, but hate both of the cuts. my legs are twigs and i was wondering if anyone had ever attempted a CMF homme style makeover on a pair of jeans that went really well. because i dont want to waste my time on something that will look stupid, but want to know if it can be done. if i could have oni blues in a new cure fit...mmm life would be good.

Man I've totally been facing the same problem. I went to BiG and looked at the Shoai's; the denim is amazing but they're waaaay too big, not even just to achieve a "superfuture fit," even if I sized down it'd look like I was wearing clown pants. I'd really like to see someone pull off completely remodeling the fit on jeans, but my guess is it's near impossible, unless you went to a tailor and asked them to completely remove the stitching on the in/outside of both the legs up to the crotch and completely redo the stictching to conform to your legs better. It might work, but it seems unlikely.

there is no budget constraint here. im not talking patch up here, im talking like denim reconstructive surgery. i want these kate moss skinny, not 'slim'. im talkin about makin the pockets smaller, rise lower, everything. i wonder if i gave them a pair of jeans with the fit i wanted they could remodel them with the exact measurements. thatd be good.

definitely can be done. i have a pair of helmut langs that fit in the seat but were wayyyy to big in the thighs and legs. tailor fixed them for $10. i'm pretty happy with them now. stitching probably isn't as good as it was before though, but whatever.

mile is 5:06. im a beast at track. im waist 26/27 length 35. long legs.

3:53.6 1500 (4:10 mile) and I never considered myself a beast at track. i averaged your mile in an 8k

regardless, if you have money to waste, go for it, but i think it's quite unrealistic to have them fit like they should with the amount of money you're going to put into them unless you find someone who is an honest professional. i'd ask ande whall if you could send them to him if you're really serious about it. he could take them apart and recut them in the shape of his rakers

hey kiddo...

just do it... its simple. if you have a sewing machine all you need to do is put them on inside out, pin them how you want them to fit on the inseam, sew it, take out the outseam stitching, stitch down the restitched inseam, restitch the outseam, and then re-do the hem.

simple.

now do it.
