Stretching waist

Just got a pair of one wash PBJ XX-006's which I'm well pleased with. The waist is a touch to tight and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on stretching the waist . I don't want to soak them as they're just right as they are. Would soaking maybe just the waist band do the trick?
