Well it's nice to see that Evisu is solidifying the label as the 'gaudy' brand. That's pretty hilarious, but it's too bad how the tasteful days of evisu are gone. I love the gulls, but all the new jeans have been pretty foul.

See now a small, tag-size embroidery like that would be funny AND tasteful! I would love to see someone do that, it would be even more of a 'fuck you' to Levis, and would still be some nice jeans. This seems more like Evisu sticking their tongues out at the company that they got their whole schtick from to begin with.

^Nothing Levi's could do, since their patent applies to fabric sewn under the pocket, not embroidered next to it.

Props to Evisu for their creativity, but move on already. Come up with some new designs instead of biting Levi's.

actually evisu has a bunch of jeans that just has a small painted red or orange rectangle painted where the tab used to be. In my opinion, they look alright.
