just got the moonbeam/carbons (lower left) today and thought i'd snap a couple pics of the ones i'd grabbed from the recent batch. the mustards and moonbeams are kind've lower profile w/hardly any tongue padding and look like they're maybe made at a different factory than the cordovans and baby blues, which have super padded tongues and a slightly diff't shape to the toebox. stocking up for now...gonna all get skated eventually...

anyone else notice how vans' black laces -always- come twisted and stay that way? it's horrible.

in my opinion they fit true to size...I got 10.5's in all four and they all fit the same (i've gotta do 11's for the syndicates because of their insoles tho). if you put a syndicate insole in the 10's they'd probably work tho

Moonbeam/carbons look great... cordovans remind me of the olive suede eras I used to passs off as dress shoes in catholic school...

the difference between these and the other recent white ones is that the new ones (above) are actually suede (w/black tongue patch) and the prior ones (below) are nubuck (w/white tongue patch). anyone know when/if the suedes are hitting stateside?

those look pretty nice. way nicer than the the nubuck, just wish it had the line on the sole. still gotta hold out for some syndicates...a whole bunch just turned up on ebay but all dumb sizes..

Heres a pic of all the cabs I have got in the last 2 months. Have about 5 more pairs in storage. Whatever ones Im wearing at any time time a board is in my presence are the ones that get skated haha.

The baby blues have mad tongue shred b/c of fs heels.

DC, how do the honey mustards fit in comparison to the white nubucks? Because I just got the white nubucks and they fit bigger than any others I think i've ever had.

they fit exactly the same to me...all of those are a 9 besides the original blacks. Those are a 9.5 with two insoles in them.

^^^ we got all those colors in this month + the moonbeam/carbon ones, and brown leather as well...our re-stock of syndicate ones just popped up this week and i am always reminded of how much better they look/feel. if anyone needs syndicate half cabs from this season we still have 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5 in stock, in all three colors, and they run true to size due to the extra padding and thicker insole. just a little fyi for those that are interested. www.silostore.com/blog
