True Religion Fake's?

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine who has quite a grasp on fakes (for some reason... ô_O) said he has seen True Religion fakes before in places as Thailand and China, so probably yes, there do exist fakes. :)

As of indicators, it can be hard to judge on the internet, if you can't find the model you're buying on any internet outlet or anything, that is a good general pointer.

I understand the theory behind the whole low price = fake thing, but these jeans are pretty rare in the UK and i wouldn't have thought the counterfeiters would have got to True Religion yet......on the other hand, if they are really common in the States then this might be the case. Hence me asking the question......"Are there any fakes out there"

domino, the answer is yes. ebay is full of true religion fakes, as well as diesel, seven, paper...and whatever brands justin timberlake is known to have worn.

but, honestly, I have seen real true religion jeans (twisted joey) up close and the quality is pretty bad for a $200+ pair of jeans. with that in mind, i don't think the fakes are that far off anyway.

if you really are going for a pair, buy from a reputable jeans dealer (one with several hundreds feedbacks and not from thailand, singapore, brazil or china). prices will be higher than the fakes, but you will save at least 30% off list price.

thanks for the info........I normally buy my jeans from reputable shops in fact I have just bought a pair of Seal Kays, but if you find Seal Kay on ebay, you can guarantee they are not fake as there is no point in faking them, the market is just not there because this is a brand unlike diesel etc that is not known by the masses, therefore remains pretty exclusive. I had no idea that True Religion was so popular in the states, it is pretty rare in the UK.

There is LVC fakes, which is quite a small brand _anyway_, and I have also spotted Denime fakes, yes, DENIME fakes, there were this tag printed inside that said 'Replica' and the selvage was overlocked incredibly tight so it was difficult to see from, I say, 2 yards away.

But yeah, go for an nice dealer and check feedback. That is all that really matters.
