yeah, saw that one...good for what it was i guess. Just figured with the vast amount Dan Colen loves being in front of the camera maybe it ran off on Dash a little. So where did he live? Les?

i find it real hard to accept his death as evenly mildly tragic/unexpected/early.

the whole draw to his art was that it was brash and dangerous and kind of hinted at the fact that it was on the cusp of ending at any moment. his death is more of a bookend to his aesthetic than a sudden halt.

i love that he is sace, and his other work i can take or leave. i get why his freinds and family would find this tragic, but the art world just kind of got what they asked for here. you want to be a voyeur into reckless abandonment and live vicariously through someone who doesnt think the parties ever gonna end, but then act suprised when it comes crashing down? come on.
