Been playing my Hamer Standard. Sweet ass tone, but not as bright as my Maple V with PRS pickups.

I'm looking for a low watt Class A combo. Anyone have any suggestions?

how good are you with electronics? if you want a low watt class A valve head, you could go two routes and save $$$

buy an old PA head / harp amp / tube receiver. mod it.

buy any pawnshop 1x12 combo, gut it, put your head in and buy a celestian. custom recording amp for waaay less than any of the reissue 18watt class A heads on the market

got this off brand tele for 35 bucks at goodwill. needs some work, but plays great already and will be a good project.

i sold my Sunn for parts, but i have some other things for sale -

Fender Hot Rod Deville 4x10 all tube amp. Has 2-channels, distortion has two modes. Master volume. Spring reverb. FX loop. Good amp, strong sound, mix between a Tweed Bassman and a Deluxe Reverb. Very silverface sounding. Good condition, scuffs and some breaks in the tolex. $525 + s/h if you are in southern CT or NYC metro area, pickup can be arranged. the only trade i will consider for this is a 4x12 marshall 1960B with celestions or a avatar 4x12 with vintage 30's. or an eastwood ultra gp in black. but don't kill yourself over that last one...

Crate Vintage Club 2x12 all tube amp. 2 channels, master volume, reverb, pedal in/out (for changer, not fx loop). Sounds good, mix between marshall jtm45 and a tweed bassman. very crunch and thick. sounds great as rhythm or lead. it was my brothers practice amp, hasn't seen use in years. tubes were brand new last time it was used, so they're in very good condition for the age. $400 + s/h. if you are in southern CT or NYC metro area, pickup can be arranged. the only trade i will consider for this item is silverface fender bassman (1967-1970) fender bandmaster (1967-1970) or fender dual showman (1968-1970) - must be in decent working condition.
