Looking for raw denim by the yard

im looking for about 5-6 yards of some raw black denim. not sure where to go and search wasnt very successful so any help would be appreciated.

once in awhile, you can find rolls of denim off ebay...but 3-4 yards? not sure. If you goto Joann's fabric they actually have some pretty thick (low quality i would imagine) denim you can buy by the yard for liek 5$/yard. heres like 5 yards i bought,

thanks for the reply... there is a joann's down the street here, but i would like something a lil higher quality than joann's denim (preferably dry like i said).

well i realize you said dry...and thats exactly what it is. its dry but again, not the higest quality denim. Aside from that, not sure where you would get small runs of high quality denim, seeing as how most denim manufacturers have a very high minimum purchase. I made a pair of jeans with the fabric i got from joann's and its not exactly "shitty" quality. its just not up to par with what you'll find with a pair of 300$ jeans (with the exception of several brands out there that charge $$$$$ for shitty quality jeans)

i have two threads up in superdenim but for the sake of saving you time, heres a couple.

this isnt the joann's fabric denim, this is actually hig quality denim i sourced from IloveSpaz.

pair i made of joann;s fabric denim.... stitching is terrible (very first time ever touching a sewing machine).

two compared.

left: second pair of jeans i made, stitching improved alot and i experimented with alittle backpocket design but yeah...pretty basicm nothing special, no belt loops

right: joanns fabric, first pair of jeans i made, i really didnt care about how they looked to be honest (hence the mismatching ugly threads) this was more of an experiment for me to see what it takes to actually get a pair of jeans made.

i just finished up my last midterm so i will be startin on my third pair of jeans, which should be much higher quality construction...since i have access to a surger also.
