Who knows where i can hire a hotel apartment where i can have friends over to drink, Like a 1 bedroom ? Meriton World tower seems good and its easy to sneek ppl in. few of my friends been to parties at Meriton Apartment and they said it was great. But now they have a really strict No Party Policy.

Any1 have a hotel in mind thats very tolerant of party in their rooms?

Sorry if im gettin really off topic here

apu if you're willing to travel a little, Toriciya is my personal favourite, hands down. It's in Cammeray. Small, quaint restaurant that specialises in sake and shochu. The sake menu is longer than the food menu, and the food is made to complement the sake! Def. needs booking in advance as it only seats less than 20 people.

Suminoya in Hosking Place is also a nice albeit pricey 'all you can eat' Japanese yakiniku (bbq ) restaurant, but you'll need to check out the menu first as there's a strict 90 minute limit to order (and time to eat afterwards) as much as you can!

anyone know a kick-ass Jap food joint (sushi, wateva)?

Mate I have been addicted to this Japanese place called Asakusa on Old South Head Road, Rose Bay for the last 7 years. I go there at least once every 2 weeks and always leave satisfied and happy.

It's a really quiet and small family owned joint, I'd call up and reserve a spot first though it gets full up alot of the time.

I always order the same thing:

Miso Soup, Edamame, Salad, Chicken Teriyaki Maki, Vegetable Tempura.. Yum.

515A Old South Head Rd

Rose Bay, NSW 2029

(02) 9388 2810

Check it out and let me know what you think. I seriously think it's the best Japanese spot in Sydney.

i quite like Suminoya, cos the food is quite nice, went there actually too many times already and would like to try other places

travel is gonna be a pain in the ass cos i rely on public transport

I remember going to a restaurant couple months back and they had wagyu in the menu. I think i got ripped off cause it definately did not taste like wagyu beef. Though i should have suspect it not being wagyu or really low quality at 50 bucks for 350g.

totally unrelated but is it just me or is everyone in sydney attached. i swear. i havent been here long, but it seems that every decent looking girl ive met has a boyfriend. and a lot of the ugly ones do too. its like china's one child policy and the surplus of single males seems so much higher.

not to mention there seems to be a pretty poor average standard of females. i could be wrong. or maybe im just in all the wrong places.

Hey sev,

I was there. Definately some heaps nice fashion on pretty much everyone there.

Did you hear that girl that was constantly laughing .. FUCK she was driving me insane. How nice is George Gorrows ~1950's Aston Martin DBS parked outside. Anyway party was nothing spesh but good to see what people were wearing + free beer is always good.

anyone went to the tsubi's exhibition yesterday?

i more enjoy on looking how people dressed up rather than the exhi it self..

damn, heaps of people dressed up so nice...
