Carhartt on Oxford St. are on sale. Good prices if you like the stuff.

I dont know much about the cuts but there are some great looking Edwin jeans (raw, selvage) on sale there. My brother got a pair of the 1947 cut for $90-odd and I got a pair of the super slim grey 'Murray' pants for $85. They arent bad!

Another inch was the first place i tried, but his GF took the machine so he cant do any at the moment.

then you will just have to put up with the current length. i was in the same position a yr ago and no one had a union special. infact 3/4 of the people i called up didn't even know what i was talking about.

i know a place in melbourne where you can get em chainstiched. Why don't you go and ask some alteration places and snoop around a bit.. Im sure you can pull somehting up.surely there is more than one place to get it done at.
