fuck my life... perhaps I should try gradually adjusting my sleep schedule so that my body isn't accustomed to climbing into bed at 3am. maybe tylenol pm would be a good option -- but I truly can't wait until my next refill of clonazepam

same here

monday woke up at 7, still managed to tool around untill fucking 3AM. its a terrible habit, I might get to sleep early once but the next night I'm already doing it.plus I sleep like shit right now, last night I was tired as hell, but once I get to bed it takes me an hour and a half of rolling around before I fall asleep. annoying as hell. tylenol helps but I dont want to take it all the time, and its not a matter of being tired which I think it contributes more to.

I guess it would help if I didn't work or use the computer for a few hours before going to sleep, didn't eat too late and excercised during the day but I just can't seem to get around to doing all that.

I got prescribed melatonin once, its actually very effective for adjusting your sleeping schedule. when I took one, I was sleepy in an hour and woke up automatically after 7 hours. it seemed to shorten my sleeping time as it also adjusted when I woke up, so I wouldn't use it for a long time.

It is 5:34 in the morning, I'm sober and can't sleep, and my only entertainment is some idiot in troutchat who's posting fucking emoticons every ten seconds.

Not to mention I've been playing this http://www.ugotgames.com/action/kitty-cannon.php for the past twenty minutes and I think it's melting my brain.

:(

what's the new link for superchat?

yeah, i had really bad insomnia for a while and took melatonin for several weeks in a row. i swear the stuff builds up in your system. i finally quit taking it cause i was getting more and more lethargic during the day.

I have the same problem. This is going to sound like the nerdiest shit ever, but I downloaded an hour-long recording of rain falling in the rainforest. I loop that continuously through the night, and it's great white noise to fall asleep to. Only downside is that it's a waste of electricity.

I haven't slept for the past 3 fucking nights, but I absolutely have to get some sleep tonight. I have something important to do in the morning. Any reccomendations for good otc sleeping pills?

tylenol makes a thing called Simply Sleep, which is basically tylenol PM without the tylenol. you can probably find a generic store brand version of this too

that's the one i use too. i take 3 pills (instead of the recommended two) about an hour or two before i want to go to bed. works ummm... about 70% of the time for me.

Thanks man. I've had better nights of sleep, but definitely better than the past couple of nights.

I considered doing this, but had something physical to do this morning and was afraid I'd wake up groggy. Do you wake up feeling refreshed?
