Just finished Stardust. Anyone seen this? I thought it was pretty good, It's so hard to come up with a good fantasy these days but I think they did a pretty good job.

Just watched Sunshine. I thought it was terrific. One of the best Sci-fi movies to come out in the past few years. I love how people criticize the 2nd half of the movie even though it's the one thing that sets it apart from all the rest of these space/disaster/end of humanity flicks.

saw 2 days in paris last night, which was good for about 75%. quite funny; the father particularly so. a lot of the conversation between the 2 reminded me of my girlfriend and i. i also found it amusing that basically all of her american cultural references were taken from films. the ending is shit but.

I don't get how people can watch 3 movies in a row, I know I can't, but I'm always exhausted and never get any sleep. Anyways, I just watched Paris, je t'aime, it's fairly good, but all the vignettes don't really work out as a whole. I like Gus Van Sant's, The Coen Brothers, and the lonely, Denver mail lady the best though.

I couldn't watch three in a row either. I usually stay up pretty late which gives me enough time to watch a couple films in between doing work and checking stuff on the comp throughout an evening.
