Levis 1947... 4 or 5 button rise?

My 2004 LVC 47s have 5 buttons, but when they are photographed as in that Rakuten link, they look like 4 buttons. This is because the bottom button is so close to the crotch it is covered up. It is almost impossible to button and really is quite pointless seeing as how for the longest time I went without buttoning it (cuz I couldn't get it buttoned), but when I finally got it buttoned I haven't unbuttoned it since. Mine are a size 30, so I guess it could be right at the cutoff to go from 5 buttons to 4.

i know this! the circle r was made from the 50's again

but all my us/euro-repro's have the circle r - also the models from 1937,1944,1947 !!!

i thought it is the big differentiated between original vintage and reproduction

a red tab without the circle r is a real vintage item !? this tab without the r is new for me ....

i think: in 50years it is hard to differentiate is it a heavy-used repro from 2005 or a original from the 1950's

what is the ultimate feature to differentiate ?? there are also repro's without number on the top button and there are originals without numbers ............

i don't know ? there must be a feature !?!?!?!?!?

thank you
