18+ clubs in Los Angeles

At the moment I only know of three and I'm wondering what you guys think of em--

Tigerheat - its a gay club but its still a lot of fun, they never check ID's becuase of the way the bar is set up so anyone can go and dance and theres a huge crowd of people that love to dance

Moscow - never been

Bang - only seen pictures but it looks like a way more hip club than either of those 2 ^^

seriously, a lot of people think bang is lame but for an 18+ club its decent. its always easy to get in and the music is ok.

In my experience 18+ club are pretty lame. There's something about 21+ clubs that 18+ don't have. If you're in college just get an upperclassman to get you some booze and go to a frat/house party. It's more fun...

i started clubbing on a regular basis when i was 15 and i don't remember ever not being able to get in (ok, you need to be 18 to drink in my province and attitude toward underage drinking is much more european than north american, but still the law is the law).

even better, get involved and lobby to lower the stupid age of drinking to 18 or 16 where it belongs. america just doesn't make sense, you can enroll in the army, pilot and f-18 and kill thousands of people at 18, but can't drink a beer.....

Well I dont drink anyway, by choice. All the parties I go to now are still tons of fun, it turns out I'm a weird whacky enough guy that everyone thinks I'm drunk anyway and is totally SHOCKED to find out that I dont drink...

Either way I'm looking for somewhere to dance it up, have fun, meet people, etc etc.

Dude, 18+ clubs are a waste of time. Full of HS girls and wack dudes. I think a meth habit is a better use of your time than 18+ clubs.

moscow has hotter girls. with tattoos. and a good percentage of them are actually of drinking age.

bang is less pretentious and has WAY more room to dance. there are tons of jocks and bros here, but you won't notice them if you pick the right spot.

the music is the same for both, really, except you have a choice in bang. don't expect the songs to blend with one another in either one. both spots also have overly priced drinks, but that was a given.

if it matters, i've been to moscow more times than bang. but if you really want room to dance, go to bang.

okay here is your definitive answer on 18+ clubs in LA:

moscow: this is on wednesdays..if you're into justice/mstrkrft/does it offend etc (hard electronic music) then this place is for you. lots of pretty girls and a nice setting inside. arrive before 10:30 or stand in a line that lasts up to 1AM or later....theres a cool smoking area with a fountain and live music (which usually sucks). i used to hate this place but in recent times i've grown to like it a lot. oh and i guess its worth noting that they have nazi security so watch how stupid you act when drunk.

le disko: this is on sundays at safari sams (on sundays). same music and dj's and promoter as moscow so its basically the same thing in a different venue although le disko tends to somehow manage being better. maybe its because i don't have work or school on mondays so i tend to keep this night going a lot later.

check yo ponytail: this is also at safari sams on tuesdays. usually really good bands come through here, more recently it was justice and before that solvent and the horrors played. franki chan dj's and typically spins fun stuff so all in all this is a really great place for a tuesday night.

transistor: this is a 21+ club on thursdays but its really easy to get in if you have a fake ID or know someone that can just open the side door for you. its basically a mod club but they play really excellent music like the beatles and t-rex and soul/funk. its at the grand star on broadway in chinatown.

underground: this is on fridays..cant remember the name of the venue but its on santa monica. kind of like transistor except more low key usually and its a smaller venue. this too is a lot of fun if you go with friends and get pretty wasted.

bang: saturdays..this club died when they took out the mod/soul room. go here if you're down for hearing the same songs played twice in one night with a HUGE creep factor. there are so many lonely dudes lining the walls of this place..

saturdays are obviously the best night for going out but whats better than established clubs are the things different people rolling through town put on..like recently the a-life guys had an all night dance thing and there is almost always a warehouse party going on somewhere. if you need addresses/directions pm me.
