cool, thanks. it's actually not my question... a friend of mine came across a fork he likes for free but refuses to use it b/c it's threadless - i don't know why, but i know he generally only uses the bike on the track so i guess he likes the deep drops you can get with a nitto threaded stem? i dont know...

Im riding a 59 right now. How big of a difference would a 57 be? I kno a 58 wont be a big diff. But Im not sure about a 57. I just hope its not a 57...

Oops. My fault Eric, youre right. I was talking about threadless to threaded... Sorry for the confusion.

Bottom bracket height will be the same.

Wheelbase (if the same model bike) will be about 10-15mm longer, headtube ~20mm shorter, and top tube will be 10-15mm shorter.

How tall are you again?
