yea, weights the only issue with them for me. 6.2lbs frame/fork, which for lugged steel doesn't sound too bad. it's not aluminum, but i'm used to a heavy bike because i've been on conversions with bmx parts for 2 years. I still need to do research, thanks for the input though, there's not a lot of info online about them.

That sounds painful, what's an ACL? Is it some sort of euphamism ;)?

Sounds like you had some interesting surgery then. Any cool scars?

You've got four ligaments in your knee, the ACL is one of them.. It's common to tear your ACL if you hyperextend your knee. It's extremely painful and if not taken care of correctly will get worse in short time, making it very difficult to do certain things with out pain relievers, such as ride a bike.

an ACL is a ligament in your knee that when u tear makes it super easy to dislocate ur femur and shin

the surgery was the most painful thing i have ever had to go thru in my life, now i have 2 metal screws in my knee and 2 months to go for a supposed "full recovery" although i cant even run yet and i can barely jog and barely jump, i hope it gets better tho :(

as for scars lol, i have a huge one right under my knee cap where they took a graft from my patellar tendon in order to replace the ripped ACL in my knee :( i guess its kinda cool idk lol

I've had a couple friends tear their acl riding...really sucks. puts you out for like 6 months or so.

nice bike though craze, didnt know rouge status made seats lol. I ride a volume biz.

yea a lot of people do and funny i only found out after i tore my own, i never really gave thought to my knee thinking it was one of those body parts that "never go wrong" now im like super afraid of doing anyhting involving the usage of my knees which is pretty much all sports :( hopefully itll go away with time

yea rogue status collaborated with Duo for the seat they dont really make seats, this is just one of their many collaborations with all sorts of extreme sports like skateboarding.

thanx for the compliment :)

I saw my first fixed in Paris a few nights ago at the Nouveau Casino. It was some guy who looked like sXXXe and I was about to go talk to him when he started whooping his friends ass for apparently no reason. He held him up against the wall and jack hammered his nuts and threw his bike on top of him. Then he let him go, then five minutes later started whooping his ass again.

Anyways, I want a bike again. I have been able to find a lot of possible conversions, and frame prices aren't jacked up over here like they were back in the states, which is nice. I know an old cyclist and I am going to see if he can help me track something down, but do you guys have any ideas?
