What do you think of the Marc Jacobs Vans line?

What other companies do you know of that are doing "Custom" Vans?

i just bought the prison issue vans in dark grey today at undefeated. They had a few other styles that were nice but then some things are a bit weird for my taste

I like them a lot, and I like them a lot more when they go on sale. I got my brown patent sk8his at Blends for like $60 and they were well worth it. This season's line is really high quality too, but a little plain for $95.

some of the MJ vans in this series were pretty plain....which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but leave that to the general release vans

mj x vans are some of my favorites. too bad i barely own any.

the vans collaborations are overdone and uninspiring for the most part. too much emphasis is put on the fact that the line is a "special, "limited" collaboration and what the shoe actually looks like is overlooked. just don't forget that a pair of shoes alone does not make your outfit.

I dont agree. some might be overdone in terms of vivid color combinations, but many colorways are very subtle and clean. I dont see what you mean with too much emphasis put on the line being limited either.

some are dope some are not. what is kind of disappointing is that each line has a stand out shoe, instead of 3 or 4 standouts..

that being said, i own 1 pair of the crossword vans from the 2nd line, but i want the graffiti ones and maybe the prison issues, too.

theyre alright.. i have some pink/blue chukkas from the first series... didnt really like the patent second series, but the new cord ones look pretty dope...

oh, and if anyone has a pair of color test slip ons from series one in an 11, please hit me up... ive been looking for a pair for a few years now, easily my favorite of all the mj vans

I think the line is great. The materials used are awesome. Also, I'm a sucker for simplicity, especially when it comes to white shoes. Which are my favorite out of the series.

I like it. I've got the crossword puzzle from this year, and two of the ones that were out last year. But if you buy them online, just remember that the size is half a size smaller than regular Vans. Or at least the slip-ons are.
