Denim Skirts

I think they're trashy, and some people I ask don't think so, I need some concrete proof for or against denim skirts.

So I want to know what you think.

one thing that intrigues me is: what about raw denim skirts?

the wear would look terrible i suspect,

but it just piques my interest.

I hate the ones that are all distressed and fraying and graze the punany, usually worn with flip flops (and an A&F hoodie, if we're going all out trashy). I do own one though, it's an indigo denim pencil skirt that is barely above the knees. i think this type looks pretty good, worn with appropriate footwear (i.e. anything but flip flops)

Interesting that this comes up. My Japanese friend who is 4'11" and a typical skinny Japanese girl was wearing a denim skirt this weekend and I thought it looked good. Then I started to think where I could get one for my GF.

Don't like a lot of them, but I turned an old pair of Diesels into one for my girlfriend and it came out nice, but it wasn't trashy short and pant showing, instead quite fitted and pencil shaped.
