can you recommen a shop for Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson etc in Nagoya?

Hi, I am new to this forum. Folks in the Fedoralounge recommended I post this year.

My friend is going to Nagoya and I will ask him to get some threads from Buzz Rickson, Sugar Cane, Real McCoys, Style Eyes. The sort of stuff that unfortunately not available outside Japan. As he will have limited time and as I dont speak Japanese I am wondering if anyone here knows and can recommend a shop in Nagoya that stocks BR, Sugar Cane etc preferably with a website address so that I can see what they have available. Your kind help is appreciated.

I lived in Nagoya for a year back in 2001-2002 so any suggestions I give you might be outdated.

There is a denim shop near Nanzan Daigaku at the Irinaka subway stop. They have a crazy selection of Japanese domestic brands (although I can't recall which brands because I wasn't so brand aware back then). The store is 2 floors of denim, so you could probably find some great jeans there.

You could also tell your friend to check the typical shopping areas like Yaba-cho, Sakae and Osu Kannon.

My best suggestion though would be to go to the brands' repsective websites and check for shops/retailers.

really easy to find. i also lived for a while in Nagoya (actually around the same time as peteyross, in 2002), but i didn't know a thing about denim. but generally speaking, Nagoya kind of sucks for shopping. i looked through Toyo enterprise website and they don't have a store locator, so i'm not sure about Nagoya stock list. Osu Kannon would be a place i would definetely look though.
