Question about LV wallet (2006?)

Just bought this today, and this pocket (outlined with a red circle) is kinda like the credit card slots on the right, but it has more depth. The card slides down completely, leaving nothing above. It's displayed not pushed down in the pic, though. It's kinda hard to grab. Is there any clever reason for it, or just bad design?

bad design? i could imagine someone may keep something in their wallet thats not exposed all the time.

Yeah, I'm trying to think of what option to use it for, that's all.. that part would fall under "clever reason" instead of "bad design"

Put stuff that you won't need for a while in there. I have a similar area in my wallet, and I use it to store those "buy 9 meals get one free" punch cards and random receipts that I might need long-term.

OH!!.. that's right..

I forgot entirely about that, since I pulled that thing out and threw it in a drawer right after I bought it.. the clear sleeve looks so ugly flapping around >_<

I don't think so, because it seems business cards would fall out quite easily.
