Eternal Tigers - give me everything you've got on them

I've almost decided that these are the Japanese jeans for me, but I'd like to get more info on them if possible, and photos. The largest size, 36, actually measures a little under 34, so they might be tight on me as I measure 34-35. I'd like to know how they measure at the thigh and if they stretch much.

I remember some guy posted photos of himself wearing them, "Eternal Tigers of a Spotless Mind". The photos don't seem to be here anymore. Those photos are what first attracted me to this particular jean.

Oh, I'd also like to hear about alternatives. jeans with a slim fit and a nice vivid dark blue which fade nicely.

Oh, trust me, I've read that thread and many of the links in the noob thread are grey from clicking. I couldn't find any mention of thigh measurements, and it is this one area where I fear the jeans could be too tight. I reckon I could button the waist, but that's no good if the thighs are too tight.

It is photos of them being worn (or not) that I'm mostly looking for.

Ah, thanks. Those are the photos Would you say that the colour to the naked eye resembles the dark blue seen in most of those photos?

If it's one thing I've noticed, it's that colour can vary so much from photo to photo. The desirability of denim for me can depend on the colour, so I need to know what's accurate and what isn't.

That chart at rakuten doesn't have thigh width. How much do yours measure across the thigh just below the crotch?

I am wearing a pair right now. I have read that they have a green tint when faded. I do not know if this is true. I hope not.

They also wear in alot faster (so it seems) than my Greycast Nudies and Blue Slim Jims.

Another thing that I noticed just recently too, was that these are only single stiched on the inseam.

27cm. this is after i've worn them since saturday after a quick wash at 40 degrees celcius.

I was thinking yes, I had seen them. But I was assuming you meant the worn example on this page: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/bears/eternal-tr/

Those darker 811s on your link are exactly the colour of fade I want. I don't want them to go too light, and they probably wouldn't as they are unlikely to see hard wear on me.

That's got me thinking about what to put in my back pocket. I saw that someone on here has a brass knuckle fade on their pocket, which is nice. I think I'd be arrested though if that began to show. Perhaps something outrageous like a swastika. I doubt if anyone else has done that yet. Maybe that's not a good idea.

i'd say no on the swastika idea.... how about a wallet?

If you're really worried about having something on your back pocket you could always cut a shape or design out of some of that flat rubber that is about 1/4 in. thick. i can't remember what i used it for, i just remember having lots of scraps

I would fear pickpockets if I had my wallet back there, and I don't dig the chain look. Perhaps a small deringer pistol would look cool. I can think of nothing that wouldn't get me stopped and searched by the police.
