Lone Wolf Engineer Boots

I'm considering getting a pair of Lone Wolf Engineer Boots and the only thing causing me to hesitate is the brass buckles they have as opposed to a chromed or nickel type finish.

Is there any other maker with the same (or better!) quality than Lone Wolf, with Cat's Paw soles and all the vintage features, but with chromed type finish buckles?

Cheers in advance for any help

I agree, Lone Wolf's "dirty" buckles look really cool. A lot of vintage engineer boots were sold with chromed buckles, so for the most part they are still shiny even after 30+ years. If you compare them to a pair of Warehouse jeans, I like how all the buttons are discolored and rusty. They can give the boots so much character. And, as mentioned above, you can always change the buckles.
