Questions about my JR and APC

This will be my offical first post in superdenim. Denim game is growing on me since I addicted to SF. I know it may not right to start a new thread but whatever.

I have couples of question.

1) my JR cali is going to be about 10 months, I hot soaked them for about 4 hrs to shrink them, since they got too loose on me.

I am thinking of give them a wash but i can't decide. Here are some pictures, hope you guys to give me some advices.

2) I got this pair of APC old cure for during summer. And one day, I figured out that that's a big hole on it. it seems like something corrode on it. I have no idea why? did anyone run into this before? So any advices how to fix it? patch it or what?

when did you soak the JRs, recently or before you started wearing them?

unless they smell, i'd keep wearing them.

yea, those JRs dont look so worn in yet and they still look pretty fresh (no smell), so u should keep wearing them i guess

well i guess i saw that coming as soon as i pressed the submit button

but yea, those JRs look the way my 1 week old JRs are looking other than the faded back pocket but other than that theres not much diff

the calis look great but do not wash them yet

if you soaked them you might want to consider starch.

the apcs look burned. just patch them or bring them to a tailor.

I am not going to dig throught the APC thread, or any other so I am just going to ask here:

how do new cure's fit, in comparison to thin finns? i know thin finns are tighter.. but yea

actually it seem the finns are slouchier with a slightly wider hem than the new cures. but the finns are stretch so maybe could be worn a tighter?

im liking the fit on apc just slighly more.
