WTB: V-Stitch missing on the 1966 501 LVC's

I have been looking for months now at both the STF made in the U.S., and the pre-washed or "Ruffed Up" made in Turkey 1966 series 501 LVC's, and they are all without the V-Stitch beside the top button.  This V-Stitch was the result of the denim being cut to insert the top button, and was then re-stitched. 

 

Levi went through all the trouble of reproducing their complete line of vintage 501 jeans, nearly flawlessly I might add, but failed to include this V-Stitch which was used on their "bar tacked" back pocket "Big E" jeans from 1966 through 1968.  From 1969 through 1971, the "Big E" 501's were without the V-Stitch.

 

If anyone has a pair of 1966 501's for sale or trade, let me know.
