is this selvedge just out of curiosity, it feels/looks like it, but i just cant tell for sure.

If it has the typical selvedge edge then they are probably selvedge.

Diesel jeans have that weird red stuff on the seams that when cuffed to a passer by would look like selvedge but they are not, I have some, and if they are like that then they are not selvedge. That said, diesel have made actual selvdged jeans.

I don't believe they are. When I worked there, the codes for selvedge fabric were:

740 - the original Old Glorys

731 - unwashed selvedge

732 - one wash selvedge

734 - washed selvedge.
