Preventing knee stretching?

Hi, this is obviously my first post, but I have checked most of the forum and haven't found any answers to if there is a way to prevent getting bulges at the knees of jeans. I'm getting ready to buy some project dry denim, but without re-shrinking the jeans in the washer & dryer (which would obviously not , it seems like I would be stuck with stupid knee bulges. So is there some secret denimgeek fix? I tend to go for a fairly narrow, straight leg in case that is important. Thanks!

Another thing you may want to take into consideration is that if the jean doesn't have a helluva taper thru the cut - then the bulge works into the jeans nicely .

I noticed today that my jeans seem to sort of have a built in " soft crease " because of this bulge which blends nicely into the calf area in front

these jeans I speak of are quite loose though and cut full and also plenty of extra length that seems to add to the roomy drape from the knee down making the bulge simply work ..

Dont do any tight knee bends. I hated knee bulge on my Nudies, so all I did was walk around in them. Then I stopped caring and wore them how I wanted and now they look tons better and although the knee bulge is there, it looks like part of the jean.

Get stretch denim if you dont want it to bulge so much. It should be more... flexible.

Seriously though, no one will notice, and if they do, fuck em. Youre wearing your jeans for months at a time without washing, a little knee bulge is the least of your worries!
