Both are brand new. One still has tags, one doesn't. The one without tags I took off yesterday (Sept. 2nd) because I thought I would wear them. I have a pair of Ironhearts and 2 pairs of Canes on the way so I don't need these.

I figured it was the "Regular Ralph" from the much lauded RRDS, but I've never heard of RRL.

I'm not sure what the RRL stands for. It says Double RL on the tag and RL Basics, but that's it. It may stand for Regular Ralph Lauren, but then i'm just guessing.

RRL is the name of ralph lauren's ranch in colorado... hence the branded leather patch &c.

I'm usually a waist 30 or 31 (with an inseam roughly around 32).

Wear 501s at 31. Own 2 APC NSs - tagged at 28 and 29.

Of course these have stretched apropos APC stretching notoriety.

The RRLs are beautiful jeans so I might give them a hot-soak for shrinkage

if no one picks them up from me within the next week or so.
