Just wondering... what's the dilio with active endeavors?^^^

I was pretty pissed because I bought a pair of jeans from them that still had the security tag attached, then sold them to Poly800rock without ever knowing, caused him trouble.

That, and they've made thousands upon thousands off of links from Styleforum and never paid us the fee for getting a link up.

Yup, the funniest thing was that after trying for a long time, I finally got the CEO - Drew Davis - on the phone. He actually said to me "I'm not the warm and cuddly type, but I can cut you checks" and promised to send back payment (at that time for 3 months) that night. But apparently, he is not one to keep promises either. I emailed him with details of the agreement we made on the phone, and never heard back from him. He never returned a phone call or email after that. And he sure didn't cut any checks.

If there are any designers or reps thinking of doing business with Active Endeavors, I'd think twice about it. It's not worth the hassle having to look over your back all the time. Guys like this will fuck you over the moment they think they can.

Oh, back on topic. Chimala - they sort of remind me of Gilded Age in that the products are definitely well thought out and well constructed, with interesting treatments, but at pricepoints that seem a tad high...

especially for their shirts. Close to $300 for a wool shirt. Very nice details but, not sure if it's worth it. that being said, I really like the quality of these last time i saw them, and now that they have a dry slim cut, I'd probably give them a try if i didn't have so many already. One thing i didn't like was the zipper though.
