sizing on dior tops

couldnt find what i was looking for by searching, so im hoping i can get some help.

how does the sizing run on dior homme tops? im a medium in most clothes, american apparel, h+m, etc. does anyone have any experience with dior tops, polos in particular? looking to get one, just want to be sure im geting the right size before i spend way too much money on a shirt. thanks a lot all.

They tend to run a bit big for the tagged size in my experience. I wear a S in aa & H&M and a Dior XS fits me snugly. I'd go with a S in Dior if I were a size M in other brands.

You guys must be rail thin because when I tried on a Dior jacket (size 50), I was about to rip the seams off the mother fucker.

i think the knit tops and shirts run about like all shirt brands, i don't like tops super tight and a medium works perfectly for me. now other tops are all over the place, i have everything from xs (sweater vest from 06f/w) to large (distressed sweater from 04f/w)

speaking specifically of the polos from this season i have two mediums and i generally wear mediums and am very happy with the fit, let me know if you want measurements

jacket-wise i don't find much if any variance at all I always wear a 48 in dh jackets

my dior tees and shirts fit slim and run quite small size up..their slimfits is very nice and form fitting

Different collections were sized different, I think. I have a size 41 button up that fits great and a size L polo that fits great.

DH normally runs true to fit, except for some of their polos which seem to run a tad bit on the large side. keep in mind they're one of the few brands that make XS, so if you're used to just buying "the smallest one they've got" like i am, sometimes you'll be opting for a S over a XS.

About the size 50 thing...

They use continental european sizing. That basically means you have to add 10 inches to the chest. So if youre a size 38 (like me) youre gonna want a size 48. This is true for most of the designer brands.

350: the measurements on a 06f/w polo medium are 18 inches armpit to armpit, 16 1/2 inches at the top of the shoulders and 29 1/4 inches long.

41 is the neck size in cm. ~16"
