To the OP, definitely invest in some cedar shoe-trees and put protection on the bottom of the sole, any cobbler will do it for a few bucks.

Styleforum.net has several thorough and concise threads on shoe care for high-end/nice leather shite. Personally, I would go straight out and get some toe taps put on, or do them yourself. And yes, shoe trees are a must......

minya - nice like, quality is good but you can't mince em like but I think they'll age well - I'm wearing them tucked in a pair of Tsubi Dee Dees and Nudie Slim Jims - pirates

mince em - heavy wear - I recently bought a pair of NDC Ricos and there superb quality but you need to take care wearing them - always find leather soles comfortable but life span can be short

I have a pair of shoes, and they suck in terms of quality. The heel is falling off and the inside sole is unglued. Granted, I kill my shoes, but still. Maybe I got a freak pair. I like their designs though.
