busted zipper on my jeans - can i fix it?

hello

the zipper on my 5 year old acne jeans just broke and i am about to commit suicide.. is it possible for a tailor to reattach a new one or will i have to throw them away?

Hell yes you can get it fixed and it will probably be a better quality one when you do, I'm getting my third zipper repaired as I type this. I fucking hate zip flys, I always tear them off like a button fly and break them. Everytime I get one replaced the new zipper is great quality.
