I received this laptop for Christmas and have finally ended my Summer travel season, so I won't be needing it anymore. There are no superficial scratches or dents besides minor scuffs on the lid that can be easily buffed out. The only cosmetic issue is that the connector on the power cord was slightly bent when I stepped on it. Otherwise, it is in perfect condition.
